Note:
This site is very much in a work in progress. We are learning and experiencing so much that is new to us. We plan to share as much as time allows, but we make no promises.

There are many shifts from first person to third person, and from past, to present, to future tenses. That's a result of the long time-span of putting this site together.

Pages that are incomplete today may be quite robust tomorrow. The photo gallery will be growing. If you are interested in what we are doing and saying, we urge you enter your email address above to be notified of changes to the site. Don't worry...There will be no spam. Your email address will only be used to notify you of changes to our site.

The Office

The second most important room in the house is the office. Why? Because it's in that office that we're able to make the money that pays the bills.

The office is the largest we've even enjoyed. It's 16' x 17' for a total of 272 square feet of space. Compared to the 140 square feet of the commandeered family room in our Bay Area house and the paltry 95 square feet in our last rental, it's a veritable palace!

We even have room for all our file cabinets, computer components, office supplies, and the like. Never before have we had all these office-related things actually in the office. They've always been tucked away in whatever spaces we could find.

There's an extra return air register in the room to aid in removing the air heated by the computers and associated equipment. There's also be a floor box that contains connections for a shared electrical circuit, a dedicated electrical circuit for the computers, and various datacom ports for networking, telephone, and Internet access.
